I am now 35 weeks pregnant and getting more and more ready to the pregnancy being over! Chris and I are getting really excited about our little arrival and have been preparing the nursery, making a list of all the baby items we still need, and emotionally preparing ourselves for the new addition to our household.
The cats are seem to think that the nursery is THEIR room. They have decided that the baby papasan's are for them. Nacie went through a week's period of time that he decided he loved to sleep in the crib, and they both just love to sit on the furniture.
My midwife appointments are still at every two weeks. I just went this week and had my Group B Strep test...I should find out at my next visit (March 23) if I tested positive. If I do, I will have to have a heplock intermittent IV of anti-biotics during labor and delivery. I pushed back my ultrasound appointment for March 15 after learning that wherever my placenta is at 36+ weeks is where it will pretty much stay. Therefore, I didn't want to have an ultrasound at 35 weeks and find out that my placenta still needed to move and end up scheduling an unnecessary C section if there is a possibility it could move enough in the next week. So, after March 15 we should know whether or not I will be delivering at 39 weeks via C-section. :( This is NOT something I want to happen. I will keep you all updated!
