At the time that this blog was created, I am just under seven weeks pregnant! We found out on August 2, 2009. Today I am actually home from work as I am feeling extremely sick and having difficulty eating because everything seems so unappetizing.
Currently, we are meeting with a few midwives before we decide who will want to work with. I really want a water birth, and there is limited resource and support in the Chicago area for water births. Most people do them at home with a midwife that assists in home births or a birthing center. Therefore, we will be making a decision as to what happens. There is something weird about having a homebirth when we live in a townhouse and share walls with neighbors. :) Will keep you all updated!
